Whitlee May Fillmore

Newest cousin!  Congratulations Zac and Lori on baby girl Whitlee May Fillmore, weighed 7 lb 15 oz.  Darling!

Garrett's First Derby

Garrett participated in the Pinewood Derby this month, his car did awesome and took 4th place.  He was also in a skit.  No one knew what it was about, but there was lots of yelling done by Garrett-he is very animated and his leader was very accurate when he told Garrett, "You are the loudest person I have ever met."  Loud in a good way, he is a boy full of life and full of fun.  Bottom pics are 2 darling sisters, cute friends Abrie and Alyza.

Lyza Junie is 4!

 Alyza turned 4!  My word for this girl has always been sassy, but I must add that she is sweet and sassy!  Her princess party with her friends on her birthday eve was a big hit--they were so well behaved and cute!  Ella Garner, Ellie Bair, Kesley Belnap, and Taya Turpin came decked in princess attire to birthday Lou.  Alyza was Cinderella, but a pretty casual one wearing a tie-dye top.  We had fun with Grandma Julie who helped at the party and took us to lunch at the Upper Crust.  Birthday morning we had our fave breakfast of princess pancakes, and our fun that day was a visit to the park and a family party.  Some of Alyza's fun gifts included Frozen + Anna barbie (thanks Gma J), Princess cupcake game, art kit (surprisingly a huge hit), Polly Pocket salon, homemade baby doll high chair from Aunt Katie, pink fishing pole from her dad, and many other great gifts.  Alyza is so fun.  She is always thinking, always talking, and now lately always singing (the soundtrack of Frozen of course).  She loves being a Sunbeam (& has many gospel thoughts on where we all came from and about Jesus) and singing primary songs, and I love her.  

Chickies and Babies

Prepare to be charmed by the following pictures:  Our springtime adventure is to raise chicks for Garrett's 4H project.  I, myself, have bird-a-phobia, and I adore them from a distance.  Although certain unnamed people (Matt) think its funny to tease me with them.   Also we are being charmed daily by a baby named Abrie who changes by the minute and grows up too fast.  In these pics she's 5 and 6 months.

Shay's Basketball Team

 Shay got to play on Coach Matt's (aka Dad's) team this year, he loved it!

 Lots of family made a special effort to watch Shay play and as a bonus they got to play with baby Abrie!
